Ruella nodded. "Well it's always good to see new people around the place, although I must say I still prefer my home." She smiled, thinking of Aili, the Fief that awaited her to the north

Dalila smiled "I have a disagreement with my old home" she replied inspecting her fingernails for dirt. "Thats part of the reason i came here"

having been pleased with the result of her nails Shaquina held them out in front of her to inspect with a raised eyebrow before flicking them slightly and raised her eyebrow again as she sar Ruella looking at her expectantly "Oh I'm after work" she finally replied but regretted in immediately

"Aye?" Ruella asked. "And what kind of work would that be? I have a lot of contacts in the city... could probably fix you up with something," even as she said it, she doubted that was the kind of work the girl was looking for.

Shaquina grinned in an almost predatory way but pushed it back quickly. "No its OK, I'm waiting for an opening at the moment" she replied with a shrug but was surprised with the offer at any rate "Thank you though"

Ruella sighed softly and lightly smoothed her skirt. "Just so you know the offer's there if you need it. Just ask for me at the Dove. If they know me, they can tell you where I am."

"Well I'm glad I never grew up in a place like that.... Don't think I could have stood it." She smiled to herself, remembering the happy childhood that had ended all-too-soon with the deaths of her parents.
