The man returned Rory's nod, thinking to himself 'we'll be seeing eachother very soon'. Turning to the females, he smiled happily. "Now, to begin our lesson, we should learn how to fall properly. By falling like so," he paused, showing the pages how to fall, making sure to hit his hands on the ground. Standing up, he grinned, "You're able to get back on your feet, avoiding oncoming attacks as well as being able to attack your opponent yourself. This technique of falling also prevents some serious injuries from occurring such as broken bones, which you pages will get plenty of in the next following years." Pointing to the first girl in line, he beckoned her foreward, "you, show me how to fall."

OOC: (I don't know that's why I said no name, it was to leave it up to whom ever may be the first to respond. Sorry for the confusion.)

(Okay, Since everyone else seems a bit lazy....)
Lynn felt ready to faint. Stepping forward, she smiled confidently. Well, it couldn't hurt that bad, right? She'd fallen off a horse before after insulting the poor mare-completel by accident-how bad could this be?
She let herself fall, but didn't have time to catch herself and ended up falling on her side. Her wind was knocked out of her and she was tempted not to get up, but she stood anyways. Dusting herself off, she winced when she touched where she'd landed.
Why did you fall like that? And why did you not land on your feet? Emerald sat lazily on a fencepost behind the Shang warrior. Her green eyes gleamed at Lynn mockingly.
"I'm not quite up to your grace, and won't be for quite some time, if not ever." To anyone listening, it seemed she was talking to Cyril, for who else was there?

Cyril did his best to hide his grin of laughter. Walking towards Lynn, he looked her over. "Not hurt I hope," he muttered, glancing at her this way and that. Finally, he offered her his hand, as if to shake it and say "nice try".

Lynn shook his hand, surprisingly still with a grin on her face. "Just showing what not to do." She told him, falling back into line. She could still feel the pair of eyes on her, but now they were not critisizing, they were almost comforting-if they hadn't looked so smug anyways.

Cyril moved toward the line with the girl, not letting go of her hand. Instead he gracefully slipped into a stance, and pulled at the girl with the intention of flipping her over his shoulder. He normally didn't do this with those he taught, but something about this girl intrigued him. He wanted to help her master as much as she could while he was there. 'If she wants it bad enough, she'll land accurately within the next couple of tries,' he thought to himself.

Diane stood there watching what was about to happen. She had seen this move many times before and moved into a similar stance. "Sir, you mean to flip her over your shoulder since this is your stance right?"

Cyril withdrew his hand from the girl, grinning at Diane of Olau. "Very good, lass. How about you give it a try, eh?"

Diane fought not to smile. "oh, no sir i couldn't. I 've never done it myself just watched my sister and a lot of her friends flip people."

Cyril raised a brow at the lass, beckoning her foreward. "Come lass, and lets decorate your fine skin with some bruises so you look tough."
(OOC: oh :3 that will still be fine)

"Block my movements. I want to see what all you know, page." Without warning, he made a move as if to punch her, but instead, he slipped his leg toward her feet in hopes of catching her off guard and tripping her.

Lynn watched this, intrested. It would be entertaining to see what would happen. She glanced at her friend, who yawned without intrest.
I thought I taught you better than to be beaten.
Lynn glared at Emerald. She didn't get beaten! She just didn't fall right a couple times. Nothing wrong with that, right? Besides, she didn't think hissing and clawing at the Shang would help much. The though of it made her fight to hold back a laugh.

Diane was caught off gaurd but instead of tripping she let his sweep help flip her. She landed shakily the fell backwards. "Whoops, i guess i need more practice at that move" she said with a laugh as she picked herself up ready for his next move.
