The stable was cool after the heat of the sun outside. Rory stood beside the door of his mare's stall, offering her pieces from the apple he was cutting up. He hoped it would be some compensation for being shut inside for the morning - he was not going to be riding this lesson.

It was hot outside and Rihannalia came in the stables to see if anyone was teaching the mounted class. She was trying to get her skirts in order when she bumped into someone. She looked up and said, "Sorry sir its so hot outside my skirts are sticking in wierd ways."

Rory turned to bow to the lady with a smile. "It's my fault... I should perhaps have stood elsewhere?" The mare beside snorted, disgusted at the idea of being deprived of her apple. She nudged at Rory's shoulder, demanding more attention

Rhiannalia smiled. "It was my fault entirely. I'm Rihannalia by the way, but call me Lia." She gazed at the mare behind the man. "She's an impatient one isn't she?"

Rory glanced back at the mare, a half-smile on his face. "Definitely. Sometimes she's a little too impatient, but it's something we manage to deal with..." He patted the mare's neck affectionately.

"With more treats i guess... You're Rory right?" Rihannalia said. She wondered where all the students were and remembered to when she was just learning. There were pages and squires crawling around the whole place. "Where is everyone?" she asked.
