Having spent the night debating with Lady Ruella after giving her an important message, Evelyne decided to nap in the stables. She had to give some coin to the stable boy so he'd keep quiet though.
Groaning at the fact it was no longer dark enough for her to sleep, the girl opened her eyes, moving silently in the loft. Moving to the edge, she watched as some boys, her age or older, bullied a young page who was following them around.
Her emerald eyes widened when she saw them shove the page into a stall belonging to a very high-tempered horse. The horse, upset by an unwelcomed thing in his stall, reared. Its hoof hit the page's forehead, knocking the page to the ground.
Slipping down the ladder, Evelyne ran past the boys, and grabbed the page's tunic, dragging the page out of the stall. She frowned when the page lost conciousness.
The boys were laughing at first, but it soon turned to a chuckle when they saw her. One boy sneered, "What's a piece of vermin like you doing here, street rat? Now we have to disinfect the whole area!" Laughter, again, followed this remark.
Clenching her fists, Evelyne lunged at the boy, letting her fists fly. She felt impacts on her own body, and heard cries for help, but she didn't care. They were the vermin, indirectly harming innocent people.
Her fist made contact with someone's jaw before she felt herself being pulled away.

Dalila pulled the girl back and gave the boys a piercing stare. "If you want to be Knights some day i would suggest you clean up your act. Even if you don't i would suggest you to do it anyway. The horses behind her in their stalls fidgeted and snorted at her anger and harsh words. "get out" she said abruptly, not in the mood for such things her head was terribly sore. Kneeling to the floor Dalila inspected the boys head injury and held out her hand stopping one of the older boys. "Get a healer down here now" when he didn't move straight away she snapped up her frame towering over him and he ran at her glare. Checking the boy again he seemed to still be rather alive. She then turned her attention to the girl.
Nodding to Evelyne she scanned her quickly with her eyes recognizing her from the inn "You OK?" she asked then smirked "You gave them boys some fine bruises"

Evelyne, unsure of the girl, nodded. Nervously, she glanced at the horses, then narrowed her eyes at the girl, "`nother one of ye, eh? Give me the spooks when them monsters in the stalls feed off o yer emotions."
Clearing her throat, she brushed off her tattered clothing, and pulled a piece of grass from her hair. "Ye not ginna tell them nobles on me?"

Dalila smiled ignoring the comment about the beasts being monsters "I'm horse hearted, the horses tend to get like that around me" Dalila looked over to a horse gazing curiously at her from over the stall.
"And as for telling the nobles, I wouldn't dream of it. Its about time they got a good beating" frowning to herself she looked the girl over, standing up she held out her hand "I'm Dalila"

Evelyne stared at the girl's hand a moment before grasping it firmly in a shake, "Evelyne."
Nevously, she glanced outside, seeing no one about. Good, she thought to herself, makes it easy to get away without being noticed. "What is it you do here?" she asked Dalila while watching the nearby horses curiously as they tried to get as close to the femme as they could. Oh how I don't like large animals, she thought, a shivver running down her spine.

Dalila smiled at the girls nervousness and tried to make the horses move away. "I'm a knight here, but at the moment I'm training the Queens Riders, its better that way. I have a problem with allot of nobles" she commented thinking of the boys that had just left.
"And what is it you do here?" she asked wondering what the girl had been doing in the stables. A slight edge of suspicion in her voice.

"I watch the pages train," she said with a slight angry tone behind her voice. "I watch the techniques they are taught and practice them myself, for it's something fun to do and I will never be allowed in broad daylight near the palace. The likes of me stays away, so I do what I do best and sneak about." She grinned at the femme, her emerald eyes gazing at her teasingly.

Dalila smiled liking the girls attitude. "You know you could always join the riders, I wouldn't stop you, in fact we are looking for some new members" she smiled then looked toward the large horses behind her
"We use ponies mainly in the riders, and I'm sure we could fine a couple of sweet natured ones to your liking"
