Diane walked into the stables and to one of her horse's stall."Renegade i wish you could talk to me. it is very lonely with noother pages around, we could have spend a few more days with pa at home, oh well at least i have you to talk to even if you can't answer me" she gave him an apple and one to her mare and her twin colts. "why am i so alone?" she wondered out loud.

"You don't look very alone to me" Dalila stated as she stepped into the stables quietly walking over to her own horses stables. "I'm Dalila" she stated holding out her hand to the girl.

Diane turned around grey eyes flashing with embarassment hoping her face didn't show it. She shook Dalila's hand. "Hello, I'm Diane. In terms of animal friends i'm not alone but there are so few others here that it might as well be me and my horses only."
